March 10 (SeeNews) - Home appliances producer Gorenje [LJE:GRVG] was the top blue-chip gainer in Friday's trading session on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE), bourse data indicated.
Gorenje rose by 5.6% to a closing price of 7.05 euro ($7.5) in a turnover of 51,230 euro.
Earlier in the day, Gorenje announced that it turned to a consolidated net profit of 8.4 million euro in 2016, compared with a net loss of 8 million euro a year earlier, on higher revenue.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and highly capitalised stocks on the LJSE, added 0.61% to 793.37 points on Friday, after edging up 0.45% in the previous session.
Total stock trading turnover rose to 1.75 million euro on Friday from 1.4 million euro on Thursday.
Drug maker Krka [LJE:KRKG] generated the largest turnover of 965,060 euro. The company's shares dropped 0.40% to 52,26 euro.
Logistics company Intereuropa [LJE:IEKG] led the blue-chip decliners, falling 5.61% to a closing price of 1.699 euro. It had a turnover of 75,240 euro.
