November 2 (SeeNews) - House appliances producer Gorenje [LJE:GRVG] was the only Slovenian blue-chip company which closed higher on Wednesday, data from the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) showed.
Gorenje's shares added 2.49% and closed at 9 euro ($10). The stock generated a turnover of 174,680 euro.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and highly capitalised stocks on the LJSE, dropped 0.70% to 741.36 points, after falling 0.38% on Friday.
The other six blue chip companies closed lower.
Insurer Triglav [LJE:ZVTG] led the blue chip decliners, shedding 1.99% to 22.65 euro.
The bourse total turnover increased to 1.16 million euro from 860,050 euro on Friday.
Fuel retailer Petrol's turnover of 268,260 euro, was the highest in Wednesday's trading session. Drug maker Krka contributed 268,260 euro to the increased turnover.
The bourse remained closed on Monday and Tuesday due to national holidays.
