July 21 (SeeNews) - New York-headquartered global investment banking firm Goldman Sachs is considering an investment in Serbia, prime minister Ana Brnabic said on Wednesday.
"They are not just coming. They are not present anywhere in the region. It seems to me that we managed to agree with them that we may have a small joint project, that they see that what we are talking about is true," Brnabic said in a press release.
Goldman Sachs will now not mediate in a deal, but will develop some segment of its business in Serbia, Brnabic said after a meeting with the CEO of the investment banking firm, David Solomon, in New York.
Brnabic said she could not give details on the project discussed at the meeting.
