SOFIA (Bulgaria), January 6 (SeeNews) – Bulgarian clothing company Ariston S will start in March to manufacture jackets and dresses for German fashion brand Escada, local media reported.
To meet the terms of the contract, Ariston S plans to expand its staff by 25%, the company's director Nikolay Sinabov said, as quoted by local media Capital on Wednesday.
The company currently employs 345 people.
Ariston S, based in Ruse, on the Danube, exports about 70% of its output, including women's wear for another German fashion retailer, Hugo Boss. In Bulgaria the company has 13 stores.
In 2014 Ariston S reported revenues of nearly 6.2 million levs ($3.4 million/3.2 million euro), up by 850,000 levs from the previous year.
