December 19 (SeeNews) - German automotive components supplier Draexlmaier plans to launch in 2018 a project for expansion of its cable sets factory in Zrenjanin, in northern Serbia, the city government said.
Draexlmaier plans to launch a new production line at the Zrenjanin factory in 2018, as it aims to increase its output capacity, the Zrenjanin city government quoted the managing director of the factory, Michael Wagner, as saying in a statement by on Monday.

"We plan to launch production of some new products next year and this is our priority," Wagner said.
Draexlmaier opened the factory in 2008. The company currently employs some 6,000 workers at the factory, which has a footprint of 34,000 square metres.
Elsewhere in Southeastern Europe (SEE) Draexlmaier operates factories in Macedonia, Moldova and Romania.
