March 10 (SeeNews) - Germany-based document management and workflow automation solutions provider DocuWare chose Bulgaria as the location for its new technical support centre, Nemetschek Bulgaria, in which DocuWare holds a stake, said.
The new centre for technical consultancy services and support for clients in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) will be built and managed by Nemetschek Bulgaria, which has been developing DocuWare's solutions for over 20 years, Nemetschek Bulgariasaid in a statement.
Nemetschek Bulgaria employs over 300 people.
In 2019, DocuWare was acquired by Japanese electronics company Ricoh.
According to Bulgarian commercial register data, DocuWare controls a 20% stake in Nemetschek Bulgaria. Bulgarian software company GB Soft owns 60% interest in Nemetschek Bulgaria, while Germany's Nemetschek holds the remaining 20%. GB Soft is fully owned by Nemetschek Bulgaria's founder, Georgi Brashnarov.
