June 20 (SeeNews) - Russia's Gazprom said its gas exports to Bosnia and Herzegovina rose by 55.5% year-on-year since the beginning of 2022.
The statistics cover the period from January 1 to June 15," Gazprom said in a statement on Friday.
The Russian gas is flowing to Bosnia via Turkey, Bulgaria and Serbia.
Earlier in June, state-owned engineering and gas supply company Energoinvest, the natural gas importer to Bosnia's Federation entity, extended its gas supply contract with Gazprom until January 1, 2023, local news agency Radio Slobodna Evropa reported at the time.
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
