September 6 (SeeNews) - Agricultural chemicals maker Galenika Fitofarmacija [BEL:FITO] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Friday, as stock indices ended down, bourse data showed.
A total of 102 Galenika Fitofarmacija shares changed hands in turnover of 295,980 dinars. Galenika Fitofarmacija shares closed flat at 2,900 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session 0.14% lower at 745.80 points.
Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] led the blue-chip gainers' list as its share price rose 0.12% to 831 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, fell 0.17% to 1,589.22.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 246.8 million dinars ($2.3 million/2.1 million euro) on Friday, up from Thursday's 8 million dinars, as 48 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the exchange generated a turnover of 2 million dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 244.2 million dinars to the total trading on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Friday.
In the period between September 2 and 6, BELEX15 rose by 0.10% and BELEXline grew by 0.13%.
The total value of trading on the Belgrade stock market in the period between September 2 and 6 was 1.735 billion dinars, versus 775.1 million dinars in the previous week.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 1.686 billion dinars to the total turnover, versus 717.6 million dinars last week.
