September 3 (SeeNews) - Agricultural chemicals maker Galenika Fitofarmacija [BEL:FITO] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange and led the blue-chip gainers' list on Tuesday, as stock indices ended down, bourse data showed.
A total of 600 Galenika Fitofarmacija shares changed hands in turnover of 1.7 million dinars. Galenika Fitofarmacija won 1.75% and closed at 1,950 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session 0.43% lower at 743.15 points.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, fell 0.15% to 1,583.19.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 6.7 million dinars ($62,500/57,000 euro) on Tuesday, down from Monday's 1.449 billion dinars, as 59 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the exchange generated a turnover of 497,752 dinars.
No Treasury bonds changed hands on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Tuesday.
