August 1 (SeeNews) - Serbian agricultural chemicals producer Galenika Fitofarmacija [BEL:FITO] led the blue-chip gainers' list on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Tuesday, as share indices ended mixed, bourse data showed.
Galenika Fitofarmacija won 2.67% and closed at 2,690 dinars, baas 25 of its shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 67,250 dinars.
Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] was the most traded company on the stock market on Tuesday, as 4,084 of its shares changed hands in 42 deals, generating a turnover of 2.8 million dinars. The company won 0.72% and closed at 696 dinars.
Lender Komercijalna banka [BEL:KMBN] generated the highest turnover of 3.9 million dinars on the stock exchange on Tuesday, as 2,050 of its shares were traded in four deals. The bank added 2.65% and closed at 1,899 dinars.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, added 0.19% to 724.22 points on Tuesday. On Monday, the index lost 0.81%.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, declined 0.24% on Tuesday and closed at 1,554.63 points, after falling 0.64% on Monday.
Civil engineering group Energoprojekt [BEL:ENHL] paced the blue-chip decliners on the stock exchange on Tuesday. The company lost 7.44% and closed at 1,394 dinars as 643 shares were traded in seven deals, generating a turnover of 1.6 million dinars.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse declined to 12 million dinars ($118,124/100,038 euro) on Tuesday from 119.1 million dinars on Monday, as 271 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 1.1 million dinars.
