October 13 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) slightly advanced on Wednesday as gains in the share price of hotel operator Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP], ICT solutions provider Ericsson Nikola Tesla [ZSE:ERNT], and food and pharmaceuticals producer Podravka offset losses in telco Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:TH], bourse data showed.
The ZSE's blue-chip 21-share benchmark CROBEX went up 0.08% to end at 2,045.58 points.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the top 10 companies from the Crobex in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, closed 0.07% higher at 1,244.76 points.
Hrvatski Telekom was the most traded stock on Wednesday. In regular trading, its share price fell 1.07% to end at 185.50 kuna ($28.5/24.7 euro) in a turnover of 3.9 million kuna.
Moreover, in block trading, 170,000 of its shares changed hands at a price of 185 kuna a piece, in a turnover of 31.5 million kuna.
Valamar's shares rose 0.63% to end at 32 kuna in a turnover of 1.8 million kuna.
Ericsson Nikola Tesla's shares advanced 0.57% to finish at 1.760 kuna in a turnover of 1.3 million kuna.
Podravka rose 1.26% to 644 kuna in a turnover of 848,000 kuna.
Power transmission equipment manufacturer Dalekovod [ZSE:TH] was the biggest daily gainer with a share price increase of 12.68% to 80 kuna as 50 shares changed hands.
The ZSE's total turnover surged to 43 million kuna from 14.4 million kuna on Tuesday. Regular share turnover stood at 11.5 million kuna on Wednesday.
