January 5 (SeeNews) - The main share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) ended in positive territory on Wednesday as gains in hotel operator Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] and shipping company Atlantska Plovidba [ZSE:ATPL] offset losses in diversified holding company Adris [ZSE:ADRS2] and telco Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT], bourse data showed.
The ZSE's blue-chip 21-share benchmark CROBEX index edged 0.01% higher to finish at 2.131,84 points, according to ZSE data.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, added 0.18% to finish to 1.294,71 points.
Valamar was the most traded share a turnover of 1.8 million kuna ($271,000/239,000 euro). Its shares appreciated 2.39% to end at 34.30 kuna.
The preferred shares of Adris declined 0.47% to finish at 422 kuna in a turnover of 1.2 million kuna.
Index heavyweight Hrvatski Telekom dipped 0.27% to end at 185 kuna in a turnover of 1.1 million kuna.
Atlantska Plovidba's shares surged 3.23% to end at 415 kuna in a turnover 738,300 kuna.
ZSE's turnover dropped to 7.9 million kuna from 79.4 million kuna on Tuesday when it was augmented by a 73.6 million kuna block deal with ordinary shares Adris [ZSE:ADRS].
On Thursday, the Zagreb bourse will be closed for Epiphany. It will reopen on Friday.
