January 10 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) closed higher on Monday, supported by gains in hotel operator Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] and diversified holding company Adris [ZSE:ADRS2], bourse data showed.
The 21-share blue-chip CROBEX finished at 2.140,59, up 0.08%, according to ZSE data. The narrower CROBEX10 index, tracking the top ten companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, added 0.34% to end at 1,299.07 points.
Index heavyweight Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT] was the most traded stock on Monday, marking a turnover of 1.8 million kuna (270,000/239,000 euro). Its price fell 0.54% to close at 184 kuna.
Shares of Valamar Riviera rose 0.86% to end the session at 35 kuna in a turnover of 1.6 million kuna.
Adris' preferred shares went up 1.65% to close at 430 kuna in a turnover of 576,500 kuna.
Shares of Jadroplov [ZSE:JDPL] fell by 9.40% to finish at 53 kuna after the shipping company said it would seek to raise its capital by up to 350 million kuna through a new share issue.
ZSE's turnover reached 8.5 million kuna from 4.7 million kuna on Friday.
