October 12 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) on Tuesday, ended in a positive territory thanks to gains in food and pharmaceuticals producer Podravka, commercial bank HPB [ZSE:HPB] and telco OT-Optima [ZSE:OPTE], bourse data showed.
The ZSE's blue-chip 21-share benchmark CROBEX advanced 0.10% to end at 2,044.01 points.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the top 10 companies from the Crobex in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, closed 0.02% higher at 1,243.8 points.
The most traded share was software company Span [ZSE:SPAN] with a turnover of 2.5 million kuna ($384,000/333,000 euro). Its shares ended at 202 kuna, unchanged from the previous closing price.
Fast moving consumer goods distributor Atlantic Grupa [ZSE:ATGR] was the second most traded share with a turnover of 2.1 million kuna. Its price lost 0.64% to finish at 1.550 kuna.
HPB's shares rose 3.54% to 585 kuna in a turnover of 623,000 kuna as 1,082 shares changed hands.
Index-heavyweight Podravka gained 1.27% to end at 636 kuna in a turnover of 345,000 kuna.
Optima's shares finished 0.40% higher at 5.06 kuna in a turnover of 281,000 kuna.
The ZSE's total turnover fell to 14.4 million kuna from 18.6 million kuna on Monday.
