May 25 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) rebounded on Wednesday on gains in in Podravka and Atlantic Grupa, bourse data showed.
The 23-share blue-chip index, the CROBEX, added 0.20% to finish at 2,091.03 points.
The narrower CROBEX10 which tracks the top ten companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, advanced 0.24% to end at 1,245.18 points.
Hotel owner and manager Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] was the most traded stock with a turnover of 2.3 million kuna ($325,000/305,000 euro). Its shares fell 1.19% to end at 33.30 kuna.
Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:TH] was the second most traded share with a turnover of 1.8 million kuna. Its shares dipped 0.28% to end at 177 kuna.
In lower turnover, shares of index heavyweight food and pharmaceuticals producer Podravka [ZSE:PODR] appreciated 0.99% to 612 kuna, while shares of consumer goods distributor Atlantic Grupa [ZSE:ATGR] rose 1.23% to1,640 kuna.
The biggest daily gainer was shipping company Alpha Adriatic [ZSE:ULPL]. Its shares surged 4.58% to end at 137 kuna as 35 shares changed hands.
Boosted by a 2.2 million kuna block trading with shares of hotel owner Imperial Riviera [ZSE:HIMR], the bourse's total turnover reached 10.7 million kuna, up from 4.5 million kuna on Tuesday.
