May 27 (SeeNews) - The two share indices on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) advanced 0.47% each, as gains in Krka and Nova Ljubljanska Banka offset losses in Petrol, bourse data showed on Friday.
The blue-chip SBITOP index ended at 1,132.47 points, whereas the SBITOP TR index, which also tracks dividend distribution, closed at 1,332.51 points, erasing part of their losses on Thursday.
Index heavyweight drug maker Krka [LJE:KRKG] was the most traded share on Friday with a turnover of 666,500 euro ($715,000). Its shares added 0.93% to end at 87 euro.
Energy company Petrol [LJE:PETG] was the second most traded stock, with a turnover of 397,900 euro. Its shares lost 0.60% to end at 497 euro.
The biggest daily gainer was Nova Ljubljanska Bank [LJE:NLBR] with an 1.86% surge in its share price, to 65.60 euro, in a turnover of 68,000 euro.
The bourse's total trading turnover reached 1.9 million euro from 1.8 million euro on Thursday, boosted by a 349,000 block deal with shares of Petrol.
