LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), January 24 (SeeNews) – Gains in the share price of logistics company Intereuropa [LJE:IEKG] helped the blue-chip SBITOP index of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) continue its winning streak on Friday, bourse data showed.
Intereuropa shares jumped 14.29% to a closing price of 1.60 euro ($1.76) in a volume of 373 shares.
Chemicals producer Cinkarna Celje [LJE:CICG] led the blue-chip losers, closing 1.52% lower at 195 euro with 20 shares changing hands.
Fuel retailer Petrol [LJE:PETG] recorded the largest daily turnover of 825,000 euro, with its shares advancing 0.51% to 391 euro.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the stock exchange in Ljubljana, edged up 0.04% to a closing value of 970.30 points on Friday, after gaining 0.22% on Thursday.
The LJSE did not provide a figure for Friday's total turnover.
