LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), November 7 (SeeNews) – Chemicals producer Cinkarna Celje [LJE:CICG] posted the biggest gains among the blue-chip companies on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) for a second straight session on Thursday, contributing to a rise in the main share index, LJSE data showed.
Cinkarna Celje's shares closed at 187.0 euro, up 1.63%. On Wednesday, the company's share price rose 2.22% to 184.0 euro.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the LJSE, closed at 866.98 points, up 0.24%.
Nova Ljubljanska Banka [LJSE:NLBR] fell the most among the blue chips. The bank’s shares closed 0.72% lower at 55.4 euro.
Pharmaceuticals producer Krka [LJE:KRKG] generated the largest portion of LJSE's trading turnover on Thursday – 202,200 euro.
The LJSE's total trading turnover fell to 623,490 euro ($690,569) from 910,170 euro on Wednesday.
