March 16 (SeeNews) - Fuel retailer Petrol [LJE:PETG] was the top blue-chip gainer in Thursday's trading session on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange, bourse data showed.
Petrol's shares added 2.26% to a closing price of 358 euro ($384) in a trading turnover of 65,780 euro.
The SBITOP, which tracks the most liquid and highly capitalised stocks on the LJSE, added 0.97% to 800.98 points on Thursday, a 19-month high. On Wednesday, the index rose 0.59% to 793.32 points.
Port operator Luka Koper led the blue-chip decliners on Thursday, falling 1.39% to 32 euro in a trading turnover of 343,750 euro.
Total stock trading turnover fell to 2.64 million euro, after it increased to 4.52 million euro on Wednesday due to block deals with shares of Luka Koper and Krka.
Krka generated the largest trading turnover on Thursday, of 1.21 million euro, as the company's shares closed at 53 euro, up 0.93%. Chemicals producer Cinkarna Celje [LJE:CICG] recorded the second-largest turnover of 518,210 euro, as its shares closed flat at 185 euro.
