May 22 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Financial Supervision Commission said that it has asked local investment firm Opportunity Bulgaria Investment [BUL:I67] to provide additional documents and information regarding its request for approval of a capital increase prospectus.
The regulator did not provide further details in its statement, published on Thursday.
In March, Opportunity Bulgaria Investment said that it will seek to raise up to 4.93 million levs ($2.7 million/2.5 million euro) by offering 3.4 million shares for 1.45 levs apiece.
The capital increase will be considered successful if at least 500,000 new shares are subscribed for and paid for.
The company's registered capital currently amounts to 6.8 million levs.
Opportunity Bulgaria Investment shares last traded on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange at a price of 1.45 levs.
Last year, the company raised 4.76 million levs, after it placed 3.4 million shares at a price of 1.40 levs each.
