July 12 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Fraport Twin Star Airport Management, which manages the coastal airports in Varna and Burgas, said on Thursday it has extended the term in offiice of its CEO Ulrich Heppe by two years to September 2020.
"After achieving excellent results in the past few years, it is with great pleasure that I announce that the growth tendency will continue this year. For the first time in the airports' history Varna airport will welcome over 2 million passengers, while Burgas will welcome over 3 million," Heppe said in a statement.
Heppe was appointed CEO of Fraport Twin Star Airport Management in September 2015.
In 2006, Fraport Twin Star Airport Management, a 60/40 joint venture of Fraport and Bulgarian company BM Star, won a 35-year concession to manage the two coastal airports.
