BUCHAREST (Romania), October 20 (SeeNews) – French transportation and logistics services group GEFCO said on Tuesday that it has appointed Bogdan Ionita as general manager for its operations in Romania.
Ionita has more than 14 years of experience in the company, GEFCO said in a press release.
He is replacing Jerome Chevrolet, who took this position since 2013, according to data available on LinkedIn. Chevrolet is also GEFCO's area manager for Balkan since 2013.
"Building on our strong know-how in the finished vehicles logistics domain, we will continue expanding our expertise outside the automotive sector. Apart from this, we will focus on injecting more digitalization and innovation in the local processes to increase the added value of the supply chains of our customers," Ionita said.
The Romanian subsidiary will continue to introduce new products to the Romanian market and strengthening its partnership relations with the local and international players, GEFCO said.
