April 16 (SeeNews) - German company Forschner plans to open a second factory in Albania by 2019, Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama has said.
Forschner currently employs 400 people in Albania and plans to increase the number of its employees in the country to 1500 in the coming three years, Rama said in a Facebook post late on Friday, following a visit to the company’s existing factory in the Vaqarr village near the capital Tirana.
Forschner opened its first factory in Albania in 2014. The company develops and manufactures harnesses for e-mobility, cabling systems, precision turned parts, electromechanical systems, and sustainable own developments, according to information posted on the website of Forschner.
The company was founded 60 years ago. It also has factories in Germany, the Czech Republic, Turkey, Ukraine, Slovakia and Mexico.
