December 29 (SeeNews) - The number of foreign tourists who visited Serbia in November went up to 133,670, an increase of 70% on the year, the country's statistical office reported on Thursday.
Foreign tourist arrivals totalled 4.5 million in the eleven months through November, up 50% compared with the same period a year earlier, the data shows.
Bosnia was Serbia's biggest feeder market in the eleven months through November with 136,847 tourists, up 35% on the year. Citizens of Turkey followed with 115,703, up 113%. Visitors from Russia came in third, up 65% to 108,927.
The number of domestic tourists increased by 34% on the year to 2 million in the January-November period, taking the total number of tourists to 3.6 million, up 54%.
In 2022, the total number of foreign nationals who visited Serbia jumped 87% year-on-year, reaching 16.1 million.
