May 29 (SeeNews) - Bosnia's Serb Republic attracted 25,514 foreign tourists in April, up 70.3% year-on-year, the entity's statistical office said on Monday.
Foreign tourists spent 55,071 overnights in the Serb Republic in April, which represents an annual increase of 79.9%, the Serb Republic's statistical office said in a statement.
Most foreign tourists who visited the Serb Republic in April came from Serbia (10,865, up 46.3%), followed by tourists from Slovenia (3,447, up 124.3%), and 2,646 tourists from Croatia (up 67%).
The total number of tourists rose 37.2% on the year to 40,975 in April. The overall number of overnights increased 39.5% to 91,519.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
