April 27 (SeeNews) - Bosnia's Serb Republic attracted 17,995 foreign tourists in March, up 32.6% year-on-year, the entity's statistical office said on Thursday.
Foreign tourists spent 54,287 overnights in the Serb Republic in March, which represents an annual increase of 49%, the Serb Republic's statistical office said in a statement.
Most foreign tourists who visited the Serb Republic in March came from Serbia (7,407, up 18.6%), followed by tourists from Croatia (3,258, up 49.7%), and 2,130 tourists from Slovenia (up 41.6%).
The total number of tourists rose 18.7% on the year to 34,079 in March. The overall number of overnights increased 19.4% to 88,097.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
