March 29 (SeeNews) - Bosnia's Serb Republic attracted 18,381 foreign tourists in February, up 28.2% year-on-year, the entity's statistical office said.
Foreign tourists spent 60,650 overnights in the Serb Republic in February, which represents an annual increase of 33.9%, the Serb Republic's statistical office said in a statement on Monday.
Most foreign tourists who visited the Serb Republic in February came from Serbia (7,139, up 9.6%), followed by tourists from Croatia (4,398, up 38.1%), and 2,054 tourists from Slovenia (up 23.1%).
The total number of tourists rose 17.4% on the year to 32,052 in February. The overall number of overnights increased 19.1% to 89,159.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
