June 27 (SeeNews) - Bosnia's Serb Republic attracted 19,056 foreign tourists in May, up 140.5% year-on-year, the entity's statistical office said on Monday.
Foreign tourists spent 38,742 overnights in the Serb Republic in May, which represents an annual increase of 147.6%, the Serb Republic's statistical office said in a statement.
Most foreign tourists who visited the Serb Republic in May came from Serbia (8,676, up 71.7% year-on-year), followed by 1,931 tourists from Slovenia (up 355.4%) and 1,601 tourists from Croatia (up 222%).
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
