BELGRADE (Serbia), December 30 (SeeNews) – The number of foreign tourists who visited Serbia in November went up 17.6% on the year to 129,472, statistical office data showed.
The number of overnights spent by foreign tourists in Serbia increased by 21.7% year-on-year, to 287,987 in November, according to data posted on the website of Serbia's statistical office.
In the first eleven months of 2019, the total number of foreign tourist arrivals rose 7.4% year-on-year to 1,707,636, while the total number of overnights spent by foreign tourists added 8.8% to 3,696,193.
Bosnia was Serbia's biggest feeder market in November, with 12,896 tourists, up 27.1% on the year. Croatian citizens followed, up 12.2% to 11,750. Visitors from Bulgaria came third, up 11.6% to 8,272.
The number of domestic tourists increased by 12.7% on the year to 124,030 in November, taking the total number of tourists to 253,502, up 15.2%.
