BELGRADE (Serbia), December 31 (SeeNews) – The number of foreign tourists who visited Serbia in November grew 17.6% on the year to 110,079, statistical office data showed.
The number of overnights spent by foreign tourists in Serbia rose by 17.3% year-on-year, to 236,627 in November, according to data posted on the website of Serbia's statistical office.
In the first eleven months of 2018, the total number of foreign tourist arrivals rose 14.7% year-on-year to 1,589,644, while the total number of overnights spent by foreign tourists added 15.6% to 3,397,316.
Croatia was Serbia's biggest feeder market in November, with 10,474 tourists, up 23.5% on the year. Bosnian citizens followed, up 29.3% to 10,147. Visitors from China came third, up 68.7% to 6,226.
The number of domestic tourists increased by 13.0% on the year to 110,029 in November, taking the total number of tourists to 220,108, up 15.3%.
