May 12 (SeeNews) - Foreign tourist arrivals to North Macedonia totalled 32,047 in March, up from 22,641 in the same month a year earlier, the country's statistical office said on Friday.
The number of overnights spent by foreign tourists in North Macedonia rose to 60,366 in March 2023 from 48,713 in March 2022, Makstat said in a statement.
Out of the total number of foreign tourists who visited North Macedonia in March, 13.1% came from Turkey, 10.9% from Serbia and 9.8% from Greece.
Domestic tourists numbered 15,443 in March, slightly down from 17,145 in March 2022, as they spent 34,619 overnights, higher compared with 38,361 a year earlier.
