January 14 (SeeNews) - Foreign tourist arrivals to North Macedonia totalled 21,239 in November, up from just 5,481 in the same month a year earlier, the country's statistical office said on Friday.
The number of overnights spent by foreign tourists in North Macedonia rose to 45,984 in November 2021 from 13,333 in November 2020, Makstat said in a statement.
Out of the total number of foreign tourists who visited North Macedonia in November, 12.7% came from Turkey, 11.4% from Serbia and 10% from Greece.
Domestic tourists numbered 17,758 in November, up from 16,035 in November 2020, as they spent 44,709 overnights, up from 34,849 a year earlier.
