January 12 (SeeNews) - Foreign tourist arrivals to North Macedonia totalled 36,290 in November, compared with 21,239 in the same month a year earlier, the country's statistical office said on Thursday.
The number of overnights spent by foreign tourists in North Macedonia rose to 74,173 in November, from 45,984 a year earlier, Makstat said in a statement.
Out of the total number of foreign tourists who visited North Macedonia in November, 15.4% came from Turkey, 9.4% from Serbia and 6.2% from Greece.
Domestic tourists numbered 20,596 in November, up from 17,758 in the same month of 2021, as they spent 50,796 overnights, up from 44,709 a year earlier.
