April 11 (SeeNews) - Foreign tourist arrivals to North Macedonia totalled 24,520 in February, up from 18,912 in the same month a year earlier, the country's statistical office said on Tuesday.
The number of overnights spent by foreign tourists in North Macedonia rose to 47,486 in February 2023 from 41,409 in February 2022, Makstat said in a statement.
Out of the total number of foreign tourists who visited North Macedonia in February, 14.5% came from Greece, 12.4% from Turkey and 10.3% from Serbia.
Domestic tourists numbered 16,453 in February, slightly down from 16,730 in February 2022, as they spent 35,456 overnights, higher compared with 35,127 a year earlier.
