March 30 (SeeNews) - The number of foreign tourists who visited Montenegro in February rose 66.6% on the year to 30,212, the country's statistical office said on Thursday.
The total number of tourists who stayed in the country in February increased by an annual 52.2% to 38,391, the statistical office said in a monthly report.
Tourist overnights increased to 95,944 from 66,265 in February 2022.
Visitors from Serbia accounted for 21.7% of tourist overnights spent in Montenegro in February, followed by tourists from Russia with a 9.2% share, Albania with 8.8%, Kosovo with 5.8%, Ukraine with 5.1% and Germany with 4.9%.
Seaside resorts accounted for 60.4% of all overnight stays, followed by capital Podgorica with 17.6% and mountain resorts with 14.4% and other resorts with 7.5%.
