January 2 (SeeNews) - The number of foreign tourists who visited Montenegro in November rose 49.9% on the year to 48,249, the country's statistical office said.
The total number of tourists who stayed in the country in November increased by an annual 40.6% to 55,654, data from the country's statistical office showed.
Visitors from Germany accounted for 19.4% of all overnights in November, followed by tourists from Albania with a 7.8% share, China with 7.3%, Serbia with 7.3% and Sweden with 5.9%.
Seaside resorts accounted for 70.1% of all overnight stays, followed by the country's capital with 19.1%, mountain resorts with 3.5% and other tourist resorts with 7.3%.
