December 29 (SeeNews) - The number of foreign tourists who visited Montenegro in November rose 39% on the year to 25,012, data from the country's statistical office showed on Friday.
The total number of tourists who stayed in the country in November increased by an annual 35% to 32,284, the office said in a statement.
Tourist overnights in November totalled 71,593, up 17% year-on-year.
Visitors from Serbia accounted for 15% of all overnights in November, followed by tourists from Albania with a 12% share, China with 6.8%, Israel with 6.3%, Turkey with 6.0%, Croatia with 5.3%, Italy with 4.1%, and Bosnia and Herzegovina with 3.3%.
Seaside resorts accounted for 57% of all overnight stays, followed by the country's capital with 27.9%, other tourist resorts with 10.2% and mountain resorts with 4.7%.
