January 29 (SeeNews) - The number of foreign tourists who visited Montenegro in December rose 28.8% on the year to 56,810, the country's statistical office said.
The total number of tourists who stayed in the country in December increased by an annual 22.4% to 75,712, data from the country's statistical office showed.
Visitors from Albania accounted for 15.3% of all overnights in December, followed by tourists from Serbia with a 14.3% share, Russia with 7.9%, Germany with 7.6% and Croatia with 5.4%.
Seaside resorts accounted for 61.4% of all overnight stays, followed by the country's capital with 20.9%, mountain resorts with 9.1% and other tourist resorts with 8.6%.
