November 30 (SeeNews) - The number of foreign tourists who visited Montenegro in October rose 19% on the year to 57,434, data from the country's statistical office showed on Thursday.
The total number of tourists who stayed in the country in October increased by an annual 21% to 68,135, the office said in a statement.
Tourist overnights in October totalled 195,076, up 15% year-on-year.
Visitors from Germany accounted for 13% of all overnights in October, followed by tourists from Russia with a 9.5% share, the United Kingdom with 8.4%, France with 8.2%, Serbia with 6.8%, Israel with 5.8%, Albania with 3.7%, and Turkey with 3.6%.
Seaside resorts accounted for 80% of all overnight stays, followed by the country's capital with 11.8%, other tourist resorts with 4.8% and mountain resorts with 3.8%.
