October 31 (SeeNews) - The number of foreign tourists who visited Montenegro in September rose 14.1% on the year to 153,104, the country's statistical office said.
The total number of tourists who stayed in the country in September increased by an annual 12.5% to 165,205, data from the country's statistical office showed.
Visitors from Russia accounted for 11.4% of all overnights in September, followed by tourists from Germany with an 8.0% share, the United Kingdom with 7.9%, Serbia with 7.8% and France with 7.1%.
Seaside resorts accounted for 90.7% of all overnight stays, followed by the country's capital with 4.9%, mountain resorts with 2.4% and other tourist resorts with 2.0%.
