December 27 (SeeNews) - The number of foreign tourists who visited Bosnia's Serb Republic in November increased by 16% year-on-year, reaching 13,623, the entity's statistical office said on Friday.
Foreign tourists spent 35,716 overnights in the Serb Republic in November, up 10.3%, the statistical office said in a statement.
In November, the total number of tourists who visited the Serb Republic increased by 13.5% to 29,327. Total tourist overnights rose 13.7% on the year to 72,818.
Most foreign tourists who visited the Serb Republic in November - 4,529, came from neighbouring Serbia, followed by tourists from Croatia, 3,020, and Slovenia - 1,755.
In the January-November period, the number of foreign tourists arrivals increased by 7.9%, reaching 204,646.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
