August 27 (SeeNews) - The number of foreign tourists who visited Bosnia's Serb Republic in July fell by 1.5% year-on-year, to 22,322, the entity's statistical office said on Tuesday.
Foreign tourists spent 40,497 overnights in the Serb Republic in July, down 3.7%, the entity's Institute of Statistics said in a monthly report.
In July, the total number of tourists visiting the Serb Republic, dropped 2.9% to 37,118. Total tourist overnights fell 5.3% on the year to 86,008.
Most foreign tourists visiting the Serb Republic in July - 5,034 - came from neighbouring Serbia, followed by tourists from Turkey, 3,069, and Croatia - 1, 491.
In the January-July period, the number of foreign tourists arrivals increased by 7%, reaching 125,311.
The Serb Republic is one of the two autonomous entities forming Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
