May 30 (SeeNews) - The number of foreign tourists who visited Bosnia's Federation in April totalled 63,602, up 83.4% compared with the same month a year earlier, according to figures released by the entity's statistical office.
Foreign tourists spent 123,835 overnights in the Federation in April, an annual increase of 76.4%, the Federation's statistical office said in a monthly report on Monday.
The total number of tourists who visited the Federation in April was 83,374, up 62.1% on the year.
Total tourist overnights increased 57.9% on the year to 157,151 in April.
In April the most foreign visitors to the Federation came from Croatia (11,652), followed by tourists from Turkey (6,352) and Slovenia (6,207).
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
