November 29 (SeeNews) - The number of foreign tourists who visited Bosnia's Federation in October totalled 67,809, up 63.9% compared with the same month a year earlier, according to figures released by the entity's statistical office on Tuesday.
Foreign tourists spent 132,453 overnights in the Federation in October, an annual increase of 42.6%, figures published by the Federation's statistical office showed.
The total number of tourists who visited the Federation in October was 98,818, up 49.8% on the year.
Total tourist overnights increased 38.3% on the year to 189,269 in October 2022.
In October the most foreign visitors to the Federation came from Croatia (10,422), followed by tourists from Slovenia (7,363) and Turkey (5,202).
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
