December 29 (SeeNews) - The number of foreign tourists who visited Bosnia's Federation in November totalled 40,166, up 55.7% compared with the same month a year earlier, according to figures released by the entity's statistical office on Thursday.
Foreign tourists spent 83,179 overnights in the Federation in November, an annual increase of 37.5%, figures published by the Federation's statistical office showed.
The total number of tourists who visited the Federation in November was 65,017, up 40.9% on the year.
Total tourist overnights increased 30.8% on the year to 127,721 in November 2022.
In November the most foreign visitors to the Federation came from Croatia (9,621), followed by tourists from Serbia (4,275) and Turkey (3,408).
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
