March 30 (SeeNews) - The number of foreign tourists who visited Bosnia's Federation in February totalled 33,807, up 30.1% compared with the same month a year earlier, according to figures released by the entity's statistical office.
Foreign tourists spent 75,539 overnights in the Federation in February, an annual increase of 28.2%, the Federation's statistical office said in a monthly report on Wednesday.
The total number of tourists who visited the Federation in February was 55,779, up 19.9% on the year.
Total tourist overnights increased 18.2% on the year to 116,323 in February.
In February the most foreign visitors to the Federation came from Croatia (12,318), followed by tourists from Serbia (3,418) and Turkey (2,111).
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
