December 30 (SeeNews) - The number of foreign tourists who visited Bosnia's Federation in November rose by 16% on the year, reaching 46,190, the entity's statistical office said on Monday.
Foreign tourists spent 82,304 overnights in the Federation in November, up 12.5% year-on-year, the Federation's statistical office said in a statement.
In November, the total number of tourists who visited the Federation rose by 12.3% to 65,861. Total tourist overnights increased by 13% on the year to 115,661.
Most foreign visitors to the Federation in November came from Croatia (18%), followed by tourists from China (10.8%) and Turkey (6.4%).
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
