August 31 (SeeNews) - The number of foreign tourists who visited Bosnia's Federation in July totalled 64,785, compared with just 5,618 in the same month a year earlier, the entity's statistical office said.
Foreign tourists spent 173,643 overnights in the Federation in July, compared with 14,682 in July 2020, the Federation's statistical office said in a statement on Monday.
The total number of tourists who visited the Federation in July was 100,055, up from 30,737 in the same period the year before. Total tourist overnights increased to 254,303 from 90,219.
Most foreign visitors to the Federation in July, 20.4%, came from the United Arab Emirates, followed by tourists from Saudi Arabia, 13.8%, and Croatia, 6%.
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
