October 29 (SeeNews) - The number of foreign tourists who visited Bosnia's Federation in September rose by 9.5% on the year, reaching 107,239, the entity's statistical office said on Tuesday.
Foreign tourists spent 199,101 overnights in the Federation in September, up 6.8% year-on-year, the statistical office said in a statement.
In September, the total number of tourists who visited the Federation rose by 10.3% to 130,615. Total tourist overnights increased by 7.5% on the year to 242,092.
Most foreign tourists who visited the Federation in September came from China (11.3%), followed by tourists from Croatia (7.5%) and Poland (5.6%).
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
