June 28 (SeeNews) - The number of foreign tourists who visited Bosnia's Federation in May rose by 7.7% on the year, reaching 95,647, the entity's statistical office said on Friday.
Foreign tourists spent 163,463 overnights in the Federation in May, up 3.8% year-on-year, the entity's statistical office said in a statement.
In May, the total number of tourists who visited the Federation rose 3.4% to 114,770. Total tourist overnights decreased by 1.3% on the year to 197,736.
Most foreign tourists visiting the Federation in May came from China (15.5%), followed by tourists from Croatia (7.9%) and Germany (6.1%).
The Federation is one of the two autonomous entities forming Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
